92 Civic CX Timing Issue
Hi all, a friend of mine had a bad distributor on her car and it was changed out (reman one) but now she has a very rough idle that jerks the car and she is upset that this is happening. Where are the marks to tell me if the timing is dead on or off????? I looked but couldn't find it. Another thing how can i set the timing? Do i disconnect the distributor and turn it with my hand or should i take it out and put the #1 spark plug back to TDC and try from there?

Re: 92 Civic CX Timing Issue (speedooo)
Thanks,
Do you know where the timing marks are? This car does not have a Tach so its hard to hear it.

On the timing belt cover there are 2 marks, you look at the first one it looks like a w coming out of it, the second one looks like a v. This is where you willpoint the light, the marks should show up on the crank pulley if you have everything set up right.
