DC2 Mang

I have a 92 civic CX that seems to have an intermittent problem while running

when the car is under heavy load (driving up hill) it will begin to bog, shutter and jump in 5th, 4th and sometimes 3rd gear.

Once this problem appears it seems to continue throughout the day or until the car has had time to fully cool.

there is no CEL, I have checked the timing and it is correct, all other ignition components appear to be in good working order, and has no indications it is a fuel supply issue

Any help would be very much appreciated

What gear are you in going up the hill...?

mainly going up in 5th or 4th around 70mph, as soon as it begins to sputter or bog ill down shift, most of the time it continues to do so even at rpm's above 3000

it will happen even on a slight incline of 2-3 degrees but becomes more of an issue on steeper inclines.

How old are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Has the fuel filter been replaced?

Does the CEL work?
