92' civic auto to manual wiring
I've recently converted my 92' 4 door automatic D15b7 to a manual D16z6. Everything went pretty smooth since i had already aquired all the necessary components. When i finished installing the engine and trany, the custom passenger side mount, clutch and slave cylinders, lines, pedals, shifter and linkage, ECU, etc. then i started on the wiring to bypass the park neutral switch and to connect the reverse lights. I followed some instrutions of a fellow honda tech user and wiring diagrams but i couldn't get to crank. After playing around with the wires for awhile i finally got the dash lights to come on and the fuel pump too. but still no crank. I was told to connect the two thick black wires (10 an11) of the 14 pin connector, under the shifter console, together. The green and yellow are for reverse. Is it really that simple? Do i need to connect any other wires? Im not sure about the starter, i havent got the chance to test it yet but i have a feeling that something isnt right with the wiring. any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
