92 Civic Alternator Removal
Ok, so the alternator is completely detatched from the engine at this point, but it doesn't look like it's physically small enough to get out of the engine bay. The Haynes Manual says that the alternator bracket must be removed to get it out. Done that. However, the space seems like it's too small. We sat there for some time just twisting it around and trying to pull it from different angles to no avail.
Does anyone know the trick to getting this thing out?

I can't explain why, but on some of them I've had to actually pop the driver's CV axle out of the tranny to have the clearance to get the alternator out.
Hell on a non-ABS EG B series swap I've removed them from the top before!!! I know this doesn't help on a D series, but I thought it was funny/strange.
