Default 92-96 Prelude seats into 92-95 Civic

OK, I've received several questions about this, and also seen a few different posts, here is how I did it (and I used teh stock prelude seat pans/sliders/rails)......

Here are pictures of the bolts that hold the rails/sliders to the car, these are all of the drivers seat, passenger will be the same, but reversed....

This is the front inside bolt on the drivers seat, I had to enlarge the hole using a drill for this one to line up:

This is the front outside bolt (closest to door sill) this one lines up fine:

This is the rear outside (closest to door sill), and this one I still need to address. You can do 1 of 2 things here. You can drill a hole into the floor & bolt it down & go. I don't like the idea of drilling through the floor, so I will be cutting the piece off of the stock Civic rail that lines up here, and I will weld that to teh Prelude rail so that it lines up just right:

This is teh rear inside bolt (closest to console) and this one lines up fine:

I hope that this helps clear things up some for some of ya'll.

use a small piece of angle bar to solve the problem on that one location. Use at least grade 8 bolts to finish up.

That's an idea I had. Make a bracket, but i wasn't sure what material would work best.

you can buy a piece of angle bar at a local hardware store. Then just cut off a small piece about 2" in length, drill holes, and bolt everything up. (you may have to widen up the angle by bending it after you're cut a small piece off to fit perfectly)
