92-95 si coupe questions
I am looking to buy a 5th gen SI coupe 5 speed (canadian version of the EX). I understand that the EX (in the states) was available with power locks, power windows, abs, air conditioning and rear disc brakes. Does anyone know what model years these were available or were standard equipment on the canadian SI? Did any 5 speed cars come with abs or just automatics?
I looked at a 93 and 94 si coupe and today and it didn't have power locks, power windows or a/c and it had rear drums. Thanks.

Re: 92-95 si coupe questions (Inaniac)
The EX coupe did have optional rear discs. I know the 95s had that option cuz a friend of mine has one with discs, but as for 92-94, I'm uncertain. But evidently not a lot of people went for that option cuz they can-x'ed it for 96+ civics

don't know jack about the canadian EX's/Si (??) but I got Rear disc on my hatch, and i added power windows and locks form some EX doors. Little bit of wiring and the addition of a relay on your fuse box. Gotta love honda. Wired for it even if you don;t have it.

the 94-95 usdm ex coupe was available with ABS. Only the ABS coupes had rear disc along with the 10.3" front brakes (same as integra). also the usdm civic si hatch had rear disc, but with the smaller fronts unless it had ABS.

Thanks for the answer, now I know not to hold out for one with power options! You say there are differences between the 93 and 95 si coupe, what are they (besides passenger airbag I assume)?

Re: 92-95 si coupe questions (b18c_hybrid)
Let's see... off the top of my head...
93 didn't have the Acoustic Research radio included standard, 95 doesn't have the factory holes for the front upper strut bar (I put a GSR bar in my 93), the front discs on the 95 are larger, 93 valve cover doesn't have VTEC imprinted on it, the patterns on the seats are slightly brighter in colour on one of them, my 93's interior/carpeting is black (well, dark grey) and my pop's is grey (they're both Milano Red coupes), shifter SEEMS to have shorter, smoother throws on the 95, no automatic roll forward on the passenger side seat for entry into the back seat on the 93... errr... of course the airbags (driver's only on the 93, both on the 95)... that's about all I can rhyme off without actually going out to look at them. Like I said, it's minor things... things only someone **** like me would notice...
