92-95 JDM Climate control bulbs
so I bought the whole unit used (obviously)
took off the face plate to install it, but the guy I bought it from ripped me off and took the bulbs.
do we have the same bulbs ? we have blue condoms on them, they do not, but are these bulbs white ? or amber ?
I'm pretty sure the plastic faceplate makes it light up amber. but I want to make sure before I install this, because our climate control is SUCH a PITA to remove.
thanks

You can shine a flashlight on the clear part in the back of the faceplate, then look at the front and see what color it is.
I have a feeling you may need amber bulbs. I'm not sure though, hopefully someone with JDM climate control experience will chime in.
Yes, the climate control is a PITA to remove. I unscrewed mine, but my hands are too big to pull the wire plugs from the back. How did you remove yours? If I remove the top vents where the clock is, will I have better access to the plugs?

Oh you'd be surprised.
When I was in Japan my friend showed me this store in Tokyo called "condomania" (obviously a pun on "condom" and "condo"). It was like a whole store of all sorts of condoms - not sex toys either, just condoms. I really had no idea there was that many. It's amazing. Maybe I'll post some pictures if I get around to it - have to go through 700 Japan photos to find them .
Funny ****. Though anyways, Japan DEFINITELY has amber condoms. ****, man, they had root beer condoms on lolly pop sticks.
As far as lights go....
Shine a light through them. The USDM bulbs had a blue condom cover on the OEM bulbs. I use "red" bulbs from http://www.autolumination.com and they look like the JDM ones. I'm not sure what the JDM had cover wise on the bulbs but just shine a light through them. It either won't change, or it'll appear to be glowing orange .
Hope that helps.

Re: 92-95 JDM Climate control bulbs (BlueIntegraBoy)
I did shine some light trough it, I think it's too bright,
it kinda looks amber, but mostly white,
maybe it's just too bright, I need to try it with a battery powered bulb or something.
no one can confirm this ? someone who opened one before can tell me if the bulbs are amber or not.
