some guy i talked to said he figure out a way to do it wihtout taking out the dash,
but u need some special tools, and a good stash of speed..
hehehe
yeah it'd be crazy to try wihtout pulling the dahs,
i remember replacing mine with the dash out , in my BEDROOM
and it was kinda of a pain!!
doing it wit it in the car would be just wrong..

make sure u set aside a couple of hours atleast......i had to change the peice over the radio and climit control that wraps around the steering wheel(cant tell if its peice 10) but it was a ******* bitch! the ENTIRE dash has to come apart....some many screws and bolts!!(remeber were they came from)....DAMN GL

Well, I will just have to look at it after pulling out all the switches covers and ****, maybe an offset boxend can reach them.
Anyways the reason I wanted to pull it is I want to fill in all the holes where the switches and **** go and paint it black, shouldnt be that hard to do with it in the car either, so I should be able to do it whether I can get this thing out or not.

I took mine out with the dash in the car. Yes, it sucked. Cluster, HVAC, radio, knee bolster, it all has to come off, and then its still a pain. A short scewdriver helps, but if you can, take it out. I probably wasted twice as much time trying to get it out the way I did than if I wouldve pulled the dash.
