Weakbyyou

i came across a friend who needs to replace an axle in his 92-95 civic. swap was already done when the car was purchased. its the driver side axle but when pulling it out the splines on the axle are female and slide onto the intermediate shaft instead of inside it. any one have any idea what intermediate shaft is in this car and what axle i would need to look for?

any help would be appreciated
