Default 92-95 civic suspension

Right now i am looking at Tein S Tech lowering springs for my 95 civic. In the future i plan to add shocks to my suspension too. A buddy told me to go with H&R lowering springs with Koni yellows for shocks. I was wondering if anybody has either one of those set ups and what they think of them.

I have the S-Tech springs and I don't really like them, the spring rates are way too soft. I'm not crazy about spine jarring spring rates but these are just horrible. I've been thinking I should have gone with the H&R Sports, I haven't heard any complaints about their spring rates.
