92-95 Civic Seats in 96-98 Civic
Will this work? Will they bolt right up or will I have to swap the rails? Both pairs of setas are complete... I have a 97 Civic EX with both stock seats still installed, and I found a pair of dark grey 95 Civic seats FS locally for a decent price that I want to put in my 97... they come with all of the sliders/rails/etc. that came on them from the facory - some kid just took them out and completely replaced all that with some racing seats and rails. If I buy the pair, would I have everything I need? If I have to swap sliders or whatever - how hard is that to do? How long does it take? Thanks in advance.

92-95 seats support better IMO.
anyways, all you need to do is swap the rails. takes about 45 minutes each side the first time you do it, gets quicker after that. not hard, its pretty straight forward once you look at it

Re: (coptzer)
I like the 92-95 seats a lot better. My friend has them in a hatch... better horizontal support for sure. Plus they're a little harder than the 96-98 setas, which I like.

Re: (jonas)
So will the whole mechanism that bolts to the car unbolt from the bottom of the seat, and they'll be able to be swapped that way, or do I have to disassemble that? I'm afraid I'm gonna f' this up good.
