According to your logic, you should've done that instead of putting a D16Z6 in a 91 DX. You also should've just gotten an Integra LS sedan instead of putting a B18B1 in a 95 Civic EX sedan.

I'll get back to you on that when I attempt the swap in a couple of weeks during my vacation. I do remember cutting a wire that went to the back, and a couple more that shared the same plug as the door wires. I'll post pics before I attempt the swap.

yeah i thought maybe you didn't realize that people swap in windows like how others swap in motors, simply because it could be done and it's always nice to have better upgrades.

Can you direct me to where I can information on how to install the door lock actuators, window regulators and mirrors in the doors? I've tried search but can't find any actual door component installs.

Thanks..

Aside from the Helms manuals - which you should be using anyway, check spoonhonda.com - you can also refer to my DIY. Check my signature for link.

Good luck.

The four wires that you cut were for the tweeters? Or the actual speakers? Doing this soon but de-pinned instead of cut.

Yeah that is the cleanest solution, but very, very time consuming. It requires considerably more back-breaking work removing and then installing the new harness.

Much easier to just run the new wires along the floor. This write-up wrapped in electrical tape, but I recommend a 3/8" split automotive wiring loom.

He cut the ones for the speakers - I say don't do this. Remove your speaker wiring from where they enter the doors and the fuse box, cover them and tape them down, then forget about them. Replace with the new wiring harness you pulled. Anyway, the split for the tweeters off the main speaker wiring occurs inside the door proper, near the speaker.

Ok, thanks for the help....

I would like to use the harness I have, and remove everything from the car. I just need to remember where I need to pin those four wires to... I have a picture on one of the plugs...standby....

Done. Re-pinned the four wires, no cut wires, no hack job. Time consuming but do-able.
