Are 92-95 civic ecu pins different from 96-00?

Default Are 92-95 civic ecu pins different from 96-00?

simple question that i can't seem to find the answer to. Are 92-95 civic ecu pins the same as 96-00? or are 92-95, 96-98, and 99-00 all different??

yes they are all VERY different versions of OBDs, search for pinouts or something this has been covered to death

Yes, they're different, you can buy conversion harnesses so you can plug a different OBD ECU into the car's pre-existing harness.

No, I think you guys are misunderstanding the question. I'm talking about the PINS themselves. not the wiring harnesses etc. I know that is different. I need to wire in some pins to my obd2b harness and I need to know if 92-95 civics have the same pins.

You talking about the plastic connector? Or the actually pins on the port?

the pinouts are different... but the pins used for the plugs on the ecu it depends, when i pinned stuff on mine i had 2 different pin sizes for different plugs mainly a big one and a small one.

mine was obd2a though so yeah yours might be a little different but i'd say they are similar and would most likely work just depends if your pin sizes are like mine

I'm talking about the actual pins. The little metal deals that are attached to a wire.

same from what ive seen. only different pin sizes ive seen are between power and negative sources, which are thicker, and the sensor pins which are thinner.
