92-95 Cat on 96-98 Civic
hey I was wondering if a 92-95 Catalytic converter can directly bolt on to my D-series motor? My check engine light turned on, and when I took it to the shop they said it was my cat and I dont want to buy a brand new one for $650 I was wondring if I could replace it with one from a 92-95? Any tips?

If you plan to try to get it pass emission test then no it won't work but it will bolt up as long as it's the ex, lx, or dx. The hx models have the cat built into the exhaust manifold.
