Default '92-'95 5G Civic Headlight questions???

My 1995 EJ1 coupe has a set of dual lamp "halo" headlights with an H3 projector lowbeam and an H1 regular high beam.

I'm looking to switch to something different and less ricey.

The anti-rice purists will say to go back to OEM. So the only difference I can tell between USDM and JDM OEM headlights is that the JDM ones also have the small city light bulbs in the lower inner corners. Other than that, they look the same to me.

I would like to go with another set of projectors, but without the halo rings. The only ones I know of are the old school Denji and then the more modern TYC headlights.

Are there any other non-rice projector headlights out there? Is anything other than OEM considered rice???

Also, did TYC ever make headlights with true HID ballasts for the 92-95 5G Civics?

dont let ppl build YOUR car. just do what you like. The difference between oem and jdm headlights r the jdm r plastic with city lights. they have h4h bulbs instead of h4 and are hard as expletive to aim right.
