92-95 2/4 DR H&R Sport Springs Vs. 92-95 4DR EX H&R Sport Springs
H&R makes two different sets of springs for 92-95 civics.
According to http://www.hrsprings.com/scripts/appguide.php
Part #29863 is for 2/4 door, Typ EG/EH "not 4 door EX ". The drop is listed at 1.8"F and 1.6"R
Part #51864 is for 2/4 door, Typ EG/EH "full opt, 4 Door EX". The drop is listed at 1.75"F and 1.6"R
What is the difference between the two besides the .05" difference in drop in the front? The reason I'm asking is because I was sent part # 51864 for my 94 VX hatch. I called H&R and got nowhere. All the girl who answered the phone at H&R said was it SHOULD work. Does anyone know if the spring rates different? It's not worth sending them back for only a .05" difference in drop. Does a 4dr ex have a heavier front end or something? Thanks!

Re: Bump (dwnthehatch)
I'm sure it's only a difference in spring rates in order to compensate for the added weight of the fully-loaded sedan. They will just drop your car a little less than the other part number.
