Default 91 jdm b16

alright guys i am about to get a 1991 jdm b16 with type r intake manifold and hydro gsr tranny.

my question is what exactly will i have to do to get this in my 1999 honda civic ex? such as wiring? and other odss and ends

I'm going to be the first to tell you, putting an OBD0 engine into a OBD2 car is not a great idea.

the motor is already converted to obd1 plugs i believe

not really IIRC.

The 'shock tower' plugs for your civic are not the same as OBD0-1 civics, so you will have to hack both your OBD2 harness on whatever motor you have right now, as well as the harness that comes with the motor *assuming there is one*

Are you any good with wiring?

You will need to alter your original harness quite a bit is what I'm getting at.

You'd be MUCH better off not buying the combo that I read in your other thread and saving your money for a 96-97 B16A2 Delsol Vtec motor, or a 99-00 B16A2 Civic SI swap. Those would be a nearly drop-in swap instead of all the crap you will have to go through to get this one working 100%
