what kind of motor is it? A 95 Vtec doesn't give us all that much info to go on. You gotta find out if it's an SOHC VTEC or a DOHC VTEC or a b16 or a b18c...something like to go on.

Im realitively new here as well but I gotta say if you buy it you run the risk that he already messed that motor up... take it to your mechanic and see if it has been abused. also is it a b16 or a b18c

That sounds like a freakin damn good deal. USDM or JDM? The only thing you have to worry about is how the previous owner drove it. I'm pretty sure if he has a B16 in it he wasn't driving mrs. daisy, so check with a mechanic first, and do a compression test.

that car isn't as fast as you would think it would be. I almost bought one with that set up. i was disappointed. maybe 2700 - 3000

so u think i should bargain with him to to lower the price down to the 2700-3000 range? i already got him to lower the price from 4200. think he would go more then 3500?

I would have to say go for it, at 3500 you can't beat that price thats pretty good and its a 91 too. I would say it is a good deal because there are two kids that live by me that both have '90 one has a hatch and hte other a crx and they both have LS's in them and they are trying to get 3000 for them so i think 500 for vtec is pretty good. I'd go for it but i don't want it.

That's a decent deal, even if the motor is messed up, you can get another long block for like $450 off of any web importer...think about it.
Just sold mine...I think for $3700 with same mods and Crower cams too (might be getting it back tho(dude owes me money)

I'd say depending on the cleanliness of the CAr itself, that $4,500 is NOT a bad deal.
Think about it, it books at what, $3,000 in good shape? So you're getiing a swap, wheels, suspension, and whatever else for only $800.00 more.
Good deal to me
Do i need to add up the costs of all that stuff, or do you guys think it will easily exceed $800.00?
