91 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. B15d2
Blue smoke on acceleration. Compression test was 180 on all 4. No leak down test (will need a tester first).
Talked to a few mechanics who suggested it was probably valve stem seals that needed replaced.
Did that today.
Took it out and smoking is less but still there.
Is it possible that this will get better as it's driven since oil got into the cylinders when it was worked on? Or is the fact that it's still smoking after 10 miles means it's not the fix?

there might be a fair amount of oil residue left in the exhaust so i wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet. drive it around for a few days and put some miles on it and see what happens
