Default 90 integra or 92 hatch

this guy wants to trade his 90 integra gs for my 92 hatch EH2.

His Integra:
B16A swap with about 50K on it.
stage 2 6 puck clutch
interior is in ok condition
good sound system
primered
A/C needs to be charged

My Hatch:
stock D15B7 motor with 173K on it
cold air intake
dc headers
lowered
needs new ecu this one is going out.
si rims
needs 02 sensor
needs ac condensor and fan to make and ac needs to be recharged.

the reason i put ac is because were in phoenix and its about 110 everyday. in the summer.

i really want to keep my hatch but i got to get too much stuff for it right now. and i dont have the money this all i need to do the teg is charge the ac. mine i have to buy a ac condensor and fan then get it recharged and i dont have the money for that right now. so im thinking of getting the teg and selling it and get a better hatch.

i dont really want to get rid of my hatch cuz it looks better.
what do you guys think

should i trade him and sell the integra.

how much do you think i can sell the integra for?

Well your right, the 92 hatch is a much nicer looking car than that Integra...

I wouldn't do the trade if you are going to sell the Integra anyways. There is no point. Besides, there may be some stuff wrong with the Integra you won't realize until after the trade and you may not get as much for it as you think. Maybe the b16 (which isn't the best dohc vtec motor to begin with) has some issues with it.

Bottom line: Stick with your hatch.

With the info you've given, your civic needs about $200-$300 in parts compared to a <$60 AC recharge. I'd say quit wasting your time on here and go get that car before he changes his mind!

if he has been calling you a lot, i would be a little suspicious. He might just be trying to pull something over on you because his teg is a piece.

i have a question. yesterday when i went to go start my car it didnt start when i turned the key it just made a quick click noise. it wasnt turning over. when i have my key in the on position my lights work but when i go to start it everything shuts off including my interior light. i go unplug the battery then the interior light comes back on but as soon as i tried to start it the same thing happened. so i went and unplugged my ecu and plugged it back in then i went to go start it and it started fine with no problem. is the ecu or what could it be?

This should be posted in its own topic. People will neglect your question if you hide it in a different thread.

Yeah the old "it just needs a recharge!" routine!

Why doesn't he just get the damn thing recharged since it's so cheap, and THEN if the A/C works then great.

I'm willing to be it's more like $1,500.00 for an entire A/C system overhaul.
