i finished my b16 del sol and used 90-93 gsr axles and halfshaft. the car runs fine but i just happen to have a bad axle on the drivers side. i have had conflicting opinions on if I could use the halfshaft and axles. obviously i can but I need to know just what all is needed for it to be right. I just heard something about a drivers side axle seal. help is greatly appreciated. sorry for the long post.

If I'm not mistaken if the axles are from a cable tranny they won't be compatible with a hydro tranny.

Something with male/female ends not matching up.

I think this only comes into play between halfshafts. You have to use axles for a hydro and halfshaft for a hydro and vis versa for cable. However, I'm still not sure about if they can be interchangeable between trannys but would really like to know.

it does work, and he said they are already installed and working so he knows that. As for his question about the driver side axle seal there isn't one, because the axle on that side goes to the intermediate shaft not into the transmission.

thats what I thought but I read somewhere that it needed to be changed and im about to go to the track and dont want to break my dd.
