88' civic flywheel on 95 civic
wondering if an 88 civic civic flywheel will fit a 95 civic (SOHC)
i have an extra 88' civic stage 3 clutch laying around and know that i will need an 88' flywheel because its smaller?
just wondering if everything will bolt up even with the z6 tranny?
thanks

The flywheel will bolt up to the engine, but the clutch disc wont fit the Z6 input shaft (different spline count) '88 Clutch discs only fit '88 transmissions.

There are 3 different '88 - '91 D-series clutches:
'88 - small flywheel, pressure plate and disc, fits '88 D-series transmission only, 21 spline)
'89 - same as '88 except the disc fits a 20 spline transmission, '89+
'90 - '91 - Large flywheel, disc and pressure plate, 20 spline input shaft, same clutch as '92 - '00 except for release bearing.
Also, this doesn't pertain to the OP but if you have an '88 transmission you can use an '88 Accord clutch disc with a '90+ pressure plate and flywheel.
