Default 7th gen civic question (i guess this would be the best forum??)

i really didnt know where to post this.. but since this is my home forum i figured its the closest anyways.. but my g/f has a 2002 ex... the 2003 hybrid guage clusters are bad ***.. does anyone have any idea if it would just plug right up and if it did would it work?? i have no clue with it being from a hyrbid car into a non hybrid car.. here is a pic of the new hybrid cluster.. for thsoe who havnt seen it..

They are not compatible, I have a friend who tried this on his 01 EX. The plugs are very different, as the gauge cluster itself is very different. Even after cutting and replugging all the pertinent wires, it still didn't work, probably gets signal in different ways/voltages/etc than the non-hybrid Civics.
