Default 7/94 Production Date, what year?

Is my car a '94 or '95? This is a race car with no title or else I would know the answer of the above question.

You still have the VIN? http://www.carfax.com Enter it in the free check and it'll tell you what you need to know

Probably the best advice. That late in the year though I'd say 95.

But just like Invader said...you dont even have to pay for the information you need on carfax. Just enter the VIN and it will say "1995 Honda Civic EX". This car has yadda yadda yadda....pay up and we'll tell you the rest!

For reference..let us know what year it actually is as i'm interested. I'd say 95 though.

most definately a 94, until 1996 all vehicles built before august where sold as the built year, even though they might not of hit the floor until the next year. its all about production year until around 1996, then manufacturers began going by the selling year after august.

just like you get your magazines a month or two in advance, august issue shows up in july, etc... magazines started doing that to get the NEXT issue out before the competitor, same for car manufacturers.

I aprechiate all of the comments. I have the vin still, but it is at home. When I get back into town, I will run the quicky carfax and post my results, although, I am leaning with schardbody and saying it is a '94.
