Default 68 mm Throttle body On ITR????

Ok I got a holley 68 mm throttle body for my 96 ITR engine in an EG hatch. What I need to know is will this add any power on the stock intake manfold or just hurt it since it is not port matched? I was wanting to go ahead and put it on and port match it later, but not if it is going to hurt my performance. Any opinions are appreciated...thanks.

Since the ITR intake manifold is 62 mm (USDM might be 60mm) and your adding 8mm in diameter technicaly you will add power, however it is going to bottle neck and add turbulence until you have it port matched, might as well polish it then. Upgrade your intake pipe and filter if you have not already.
