5th poping out

Icon3 5th poping out

So u currenty got an eg6 but only problem is my fith gear pops out on highway when it goes under 3k rpm what could this b and how can i fix it its a s20 tranny

First thing's first, check all of your bushings, shift linkage, and transmission/motor mounts. Do you have the stock shift arm, or a short shifter?

Is there any fluid in it? Normally popping out of 5th is caused by low fluid.

Yes in the tranny. Did you fill it till it started coming back out the fill hole? How far down was it before you added fluid?

no i didnt do it that far but i will do that first thing tmw moring but how do u put fluid in the tranny from the head ryt????

Lol.. You need a helms... Theres a plug on the transmission.. Make sure you use honda mtf

No not from the head, from the fill plug on the side of transmission , or remove the VSS and fill it through the hole (fill plug still needs to come out so you know where the level is either way though. If it's an S20 tranny put cheap 10W30 in it.
