well we did my cousins 95 dx and we ran into some stuff, but its fixed now, not sure if the key comes out of the ignition yet or if the reverse lights work, but other than that, theres a nice big heater hole, where shift linkage goes and u can even see the floor

Could you weld plates in to cover the holes in the floor?

im pretty sure u can get the piece from a 5 piece civic, r u swapping the motor too? the hole is where the shifter goes its kinda long and u can see ure exhaust piping, its not too bad unless it rains or u drive in a flood ....

You will need to remove the passenger side tranny mount bracket from the frame and weld in a manual one from a 92-95 Civic. The pedal board is a pain - take out the dash completely to make it a little easier. The wiring might be confusing, but if you have a Helm's for a 1992 Civic then you should be able to figure it out.

its not that bad. You do have to remove the mount or you can get the place racing mount(thats expensive) Cut holes for shift linkage bolts, tranny, clutch, flywheel, basically, if you can replace a clutch you can do it. Oh, and pedal assembly. Im sure im missing some other things too.

here you go:

i've personally had the conversion done but had an engine swap done at the same time. tranny mount needs to be modified because it sits higher than the tranny mount from a manual. you can get a modified mount from placeracing, but i've heard it doesn't sit perfectly so you may just want to have it custom made. you're going to have to work with the wiring to get the reverse lights to work... you're going to need a different throttle cable... if you have any other questions e-mail me... but check out the link below it should answer most your questions.
