500$ for a jackson racing supercharger (D16y7)
i just want ur opinion if it is worth it for me to buy a jackson racing supercharger from a friend for 500$ or less for my (gay) 1997 Honda Civic LX(first car), auto.ive seen this for sale for $2000 on their website.i would get about a 50 hp gain from it.thx for reading. plz respond.

I'd definitely go for it.
Use an OBD-II to OBD-I conversion harness with a tuned OBD-I ECU and you got yourself something happening. You'll be stressing the fuel pump around top end but you should be fine otherwise. I don't think the Y7 injectors will be able to take it though, but the block will be fine.
