5 stud conversion on eg (tryed searching)
flame suit equipped
Tryed searching (not sure if im just crap at using the search function) but could somebody be kind enough to tell me what parts i need to do a 5 stud conversion on my eg?
I ask because its having a B18 put in and its on tiny discs and drums which im not too happy about, im guessing i need hubs, discs, and calipers, i know theres other stuff but im not 100% on what i need.
thanks in advance

Re: 5 stud conversion on eg (ezza)
the bare minimun you need is...
Front :
- Interga Type R - Knuckles & hubs
- Interga Type R - brake rotors (11"), brake pads, calipers and caliper brackets.
you will need interga brake lines also. you can re-use your upper and lower control arms.
for the rear :
- Interga Type R - rear trailing arms, hubs, brake rotors (10.2"), brake calipers and brackets, ebrake lines and brakes lines.
for the back you can re-use your lower control arms and upper compensator arm.
when i bought my 5lug it came just as described. i used Skunk2 upper control arms, SPC rear camber kit, Goodrich stainless brake lines, Brembo blank rotors with Axxis ultimate pads.
If the 5lug is from japanese 98-01 Interga Type R... you will need to use the rare 36mm axles. good luck finding a good set.
If its from a 96-00 Civic Type R or 97-01 USDM Interga Type R the stock Integra 32mm axles will work perfect.

Re: 5 stud conversion on eg (RockLee`)
wow
exactly what i needed to know in one reply, thanks
Iv already installed a JDM (not that it matters) dc2 master brake cylinder, my brakes should be **** hot when done.
just to clarify, what are the knuckles? arent the caliper brackets part of something else? (might be the knuckle), and whats a upper compensator arm?

the knuckle is part number 2/3
as for "bare minimum" im sure if you have a integra brakes all around to begin with you can just swap ITR bearigns in teh rear and press ITR hubs in the front... you have 5lug now...small brakes... but your JDM now

Hey downey I realize that running a b series engine would be ok with the integra axles of either size. What about us running a d16 still?

Re: 5 stud conversion on eg (ezza)
see the two holes on the knuckle...there is a L shaped bracket that bolts on the back of that and then the caliper bolts to it. Go look at your car youll see it

Unceasing Measure
If you were typing in "5-stud" in search, that's why you weren't getting anything. It's commonly referred to as the "5-lug conversion". I've never heard stud used in that context.
The caliper bracket is the carrier bracket with the slider pins that holds the caliper in place.

when i first had my 5lug i had a stock cx motor. d-series axles will work just fine.

Re: 5 stud conversion on eg (Downey)
just to let you guys know im selling my 5lug setup to convert back to an integra gsr/ls 4lug setup.
the 5lug brakes are heavier and its harder to find oem or rota wheels in 5lug. plus its got that "bling" factor that im not found of anymore.
our Honda Challenge H1 & H4 cars both use 10.2" gsr front and 9.2" gsr rear brakes. both cars have amazing brake capabilites.
id rather sell my 5lug setup for $1500 and buy GSR brakes for $400 and still have the option to upgrade to 11" using prelude calipers/brackets or 11" NSX setup.
im removing my 5lug next week. if anyone is interested ill weigh the difference between the two setups.

Maybe you will get $1500 for the 5 lug, but i see them all the time foe 750-800 plus 200-300 shipping. If your willing to come down and have pics, I might be interested in getting them.
