5 SPEED P28 OR AUTO?
alright guys im doing a 5 speed swap to my 93 civic ex coupe soon...i have everything...now i have a auto p28 in my car now (obviously) but i need to sell it so i was wondering if i put the 5 speed p28 in my auto for awhile if it would work? would my car shift? would it be alright to do this? let me know becuase p28's are hard to come by and i would like to sell my auto.

maybe ill just hook up the manual p28 and see is she drives and shifts right...its only to hold me over until my 5 sp swap.

it should drive fine, all you got to do is convert it, just unsoldering some chips in the ecu

yeah, just keep your auto p28 until you do the swap, then take it to your local tuner and they will be able to convert it to 5spd for you in a matter of minutes. Its just a matter of removing/moving a few resistors.

but the 5 speed would work? i am wondering because why not just use a 5 speed p28 since i got it? i have a local friend that can easily make my auto p28 a 5 speed but i thought maybe a 5 speed p28 would be better.....thank guys.
