Default 5 lug conversion on 93 hb

sup fellas? I'm about to obtain a JDM 98+ Type R 5 lug conversion. If I'm not mistaken the JDM one has a 36mm axles nut and the USDM one has 32mm. I have USDM Type R axles though. can I jsut use the USDM axles and 32mm nut instead? will this still work? what will I need to do to make everything properly install? if anyone knows let me know. thanks

also I got a set of Goodridge ss lines originally with my car. will this work with the new Type R brakes or will I need to get Type R lines. I already got rear disc brakes do I need a the Type R E brake cable as well after the full conversion?

You can't use the 32mm axles. You can only use the 36mm axles. And it's not giong to work if you don't have a b series motor.

It's sort of a hassle.

What kind of lines are they for? The rears won't work if they are for drums.

thanks for the reply. I jsut stated in my second note that I got rear discs already. and I do have a B series motor so I won't have to worry too much about that. but what I'm concerned about is the axles now. so basically I can't do this with the JDM 5 lug unless I get the JDM axles? thats some ****.

Ask the seller if the conversion comes with the axles. Very often, they do. If they don't then I wouldn't buy that conversion unless you are able to find the axles elsewhere. And you can't just go to the dealer and order them because they are not on any US spec cars.

When I did my USDM ITR 5 lug conversion on my '97 Civic, I used 99-00 Civic Si brake lines and e-brake cables and they both fit perfectly.
