4x100 big brake upgrade
I'v done alot of searching but havent really found what I was looking for.
I'm looking for a brake upgrade but still keep it 4x100 (aposed to doing a 5x114 or what ever) I know fastbrakes.com has rear disk conversion but what is the best aftermarket calipers and rotors you can think of that will work on 4x100
Dont worry about the cost just the quality, thank for all the help.

Re: 4x100 big brake upgrade (cayman_hatch)
You can do a "Hybrid" setup.. (what i have on my car.)
11.1 Prelude VTEC rotors, you have to have them re-drilled to 4x100 (very cheap at a machine shop. Paid 170 for a set of Powerslot rotors.)
ITR Calipers (you have to shave about 2-3 mm off the caliper mounting bracket - or use some washers, i shaved off the 2-3mm.. didn't feel good about putting washers on my calipers. Calipers go from 125-150 for a set.)
GSR Front knuckles. (30-50 bucks a piece from a junkyard.
So for between 400-500 depending on parts and what not, you get a big brake setup.
I have that setup in the front, with 96 GSR disc brakes in the back, a 4040prop valve off a 99si, with a 99si brake booster, and a 1" Teg Brake MC.
The brakes are retarded.. it's gotta be the best part of the car.

anything will fit with the right modifications the ITR calipers are one piston.. you can also use the Legend or Accord calipers, which are 2 piston.

NSX caliper is also a 2 pot caliper. You can try that along with EP rear 10.3 disc brake. All OEM parts.
There are threads on NSX caliper and EP rear caliper setup. But, if you want to save yourself time and hassle to look for matching parts, just get the Spoon one with 4x100 discs and whatnot. If, cost is no object to you.

Re: (ADVAN EG2)
yeah. more drilling though. It seems the 05 Acura TL 4 pot (brembo) calipers can fit on the knuckle....IF you can drill out the hole to a larger size. I do not have verification on this yet, so stick around and in a few days maybe Migs can let us know.
