Default 4x100 and 4x114.3 wheels

Hey HT, I was just wondering if 4x114.3 wheels would fit my 2000 civic si without doing a 4 lug type r conversion. Are there any wheels spacers or adapters that can be used to fit 4x114.3 wheels on my civic?

Thanks in advance and Happy Independence Day!

The trouble with adapters is that they're usually about an inch thick, or more. Unless you've come across some 65 mm offset wheels, they'll stick out a good bit further than what they should.
