40/40 proportional valve
i have a 1997 civic hatchback and i bought the rear end off a 1996 acura integra for the disc brakes. i was told i should get a 40/40 proportional valve to go with it. do i get that off of a 1992 acura integra rs or something else. any other tips for the conversion would be great.

Re: 40/40 proportional valve (rockin_remz)
Get a proportioning valve from a 99-00 Civic Si (hence the rear disc brakes) if you want to, but I don't think there is a need for it. I just read a few days ago that the proportioning valve for 96-00 civics (including the Si) were all the same, except for the EX models. The only things you should need are Si brake cables, brake master cylinder/brake booster(still an issue as to wether you really need the bb), and new brake lines (braided stainless steel lines are prefered). Good luck.
