my denso universal o2 sensor part # 234-4209 just came in. 2 blacks, 1 blue, 1 white. does it matter where the 2 blacks (positive and ground) go. if it does matter, how do you know which is which?

Also, Also there is a little packet of brown liquidy stuff that came with it, along with heat shrink tubing, and metal tube connections. what is that brown stuff?

cant i just solder them on?

I'm pretty sure if it came with brown stuff that it is anti-sieze. Put it on the threads of the sensor before you torque it down into the bung. Don't get any on the sensor part though. Yeah, just solder the wires together. Find out which needs positive and which needs ground though. I am not sure if it matters.

ya i am almost positive it doesnt matter but when i did mine, where the blue wire goes into the sensor i put that up and did the same with the wire it hooked to and line matched the rest as they were.
