4 wire O2 install into cx now iac problems
im trying to help a friend swap a 4 wire O2 sensor into his cx with a jdm b16. i ran the O2 sensor green wire to the ECT(D13), the white to the primary heated O2 (D14), one of the black wires to primary O2 sensor heater control (A6) and the 2nd black wire to the IACV (A9). after installing the O2 we ran into code 14 (IAC) and had a fluctuating idle. i looked over the harness and it appears that the only plug i have left to plug into the iac is a plug with yellow/black wire and a black/blue wire, however, with this plugged into the iac, the car will not idle correctly. we looked on my friends same year cx and his wires were yellow/black and blue/yellow, but this may be because he is running an ex harness, he isn't sure. what color should the wires be coming out of the iac plug be? from my diagram it says green/white, which on the ecu side of the wire it was, however, there is no plug on the harness with green/white that i have been able to find. i feel that my wiring is good on the iac splice, however, im stuck on why we are still having problems with code 14. would a dirty iac throw the code or just make the idle fluctuate? as well, could it have been possible the iac went bad within a 2 hour time frame? thanks to anyone who can help.
