4-4 ABS Code interpretation - 1995 european Civic (MB1)
Hi,
I just bought a 6th gen. five doors 95´ civic MB1 (german version). I was having trouble with my ABS light coming up when driving above 10kph.
I pulled the code and got 4-4. Since I just have access to american service manuals I am getting a little bit confused.
In the service manual for the 6th generation there is no 4-4 code, so I took the service manual for 5th generation. It's possible to read rear right (4-8 is rear left). I then found this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/
where for civic 92-95 4-4 is rear left sensor.
I disconnected the rear left sensor in the back of the car and now I can drive like 10 minutes before the light goes on, which I also can't explain.
Does anybody have a clue about which codes apply for my car?
Thanks a lot!
