Default 4-1 header?

Would a 4-1 header really make that much of a difference over a 4-2-1 style? (D series motor)

Sorry if this sounds messed up but its kind of true coming from a D series myself.

4-2-1 or 4-1 + D Series = FAIL.

Not much diffirence in any way.

you could search, NOOB! lol

wassup b-*****?

from my experience most 4-1 headers are better flowing and tend to give more of a power gain over stock/4-2-1 designs, while aftermarket 4-2-1 headers will usually give you more hp than stock, the gains will be minimal compared to most 4-1 designs, but the 4-1's are usually more expensive. for the setup you have now your megan will be just fine unless you are planning something you havent told me about.

yeah, you can squeeze as much horsepower out of your d16 as you can with bolt ons, but sadly (with all due respect to your car) its still going to be a D16. so without a FI setup or a serious N/A build or alot of nitrous. itll be difficult and expensive to make as fast as i know you want it to be. an H22 or GSR would be good for you! but if you build N/A 4-1 is the way to go, but with simple boltons the one you have now is fine

You'll lose too much bottom end with a 4-1. The 4-1 is made for higher RPM power.
