3mm spacer enough for miata pana style rims?
I already searched and i didnt get a certain answer. Are 3mm wheel spacers enough to clear 96-98 civic ex front calipers? dont want to shave em. Btw the panasport lookin ones. i just need a definite answer then this can be left to sink.

emerika had a set on his hatch and he was running intergra rotors, so i dont think there will be a problem with your ex brakes. the problem is that the center hub needs to be bored out to fit on the civic, like stated above. search around in the archives. this was a pretty popular topic about a year ago. good luck

Re: 3mm spacer enough for miata pana style rims? (sohcSUCKS)
im sorry i forgot to say that i already have them bored they fit fine in the rear but the fronts dont. i put them on and then spun them and they are in fact rubbing the hanger on the caliper. These are the panasport looling ones, they might be different than the hx look a likes. I feel safer with a 3mm spacer than shaving the caliper, but dont want extended wheel studs so i want the smallest spacer possible unless shaving the caliper is perfectly safe.

3mm or 1/4" should do it just fine Either that or file away a little of the center bore of the wheel... not compfortable with that?, go to a machine shop

I had 5mm spacers on the front and 3mm on the rears with plenty of clearance.
Only reason I ran the spacers, is to clear the center hub of the wheel away from the hub on my car. This way, I didn't have to bore the hub or anything.
Edit- after reading your screen name, I should take back everything I said

Re: 3mm spacer enough for miata pana style rims? (Emerika)
The rims are already bored out by machine shop as stated in my second post. Im asking if the center bore of the spacers matter as long as they are 56.1mm or bigger and if hub centric spacers are a must. These http://www.jcwhitney.com/autop...03360 will be fine right?
