3" catback installation problem....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
OK, so I bouthgt a generic catback system from ebay, and as I'm trying to install it I notice that the only way for it to work is if the exhause system goes under the right rear lower control arm, does this seemed right? I don't know, because I have never installed a 3" before, so don't know if they designed it different. If it were to be below the right rear lower control arm + a 3" catback system. I don't think it's such a good idea, as it's going to rub the minute I lower the vehicle from the jack stand. please someone ou there let me know. Thanks.

if your not going turbo, then ditch the 3" and get a 2.25" or 2.5" if your going to build it. But..... since you probably will ignore that and keep the fart pipes, then you should probably take it to a muffler shop, and see if they can help you. It shouldnt go under the control arm, and if its gereric, then it may not work for you. Check out Kteller.com and look at there exhaust piping. Cheap and fit right.

are you going turbo or are you turboed? because hondas were not designed to have 3 inch pipe under them. that is way it is going under the lca. if it goes over the lca it will crush that pipe and you will have 2.25 inch pipe after that. btw if the car isnt turboed yet i would wait to put the exhuast on because you WILL HATE IT. and besides the down piping to the turbo will cause the exhaust piping to change lenghts as well.
good luck.
good luck.

This is 100% utter bullshit. I just installed a 3" K-teller catback on my friend's Integra and there were zero interference problems. Some exhausts do indeed go under the rear LCA, but those are the kinds of exhausts I stay far away from. It's already too easy to bottom out in these cars and I'm not willing to use a $600 set of pipes as a bump stop.

agreed,
well, it would be so bad if it would work going under the lca but the thing is when you put it on that way, it looks like you have that pipe going sideways!!!!! and I think that's garbage.
Thanks a bundle pal.
