2nd Hatch bites the dust :( **sad**
Well, I just lost another hatch today (my 3rd Hatch). I was at an intersection waiting for the light to turn green. As my light turned green, I proceeded to cross the intersection. All I remember is this silver blur from the corner of my left eye. ******* retarded @#$@ @#%##$^#* ran a red light and hit me strait on my driver side fender.
Damages:
both fenders trashed, bumper might be salvageable, driver side headlight, radiator, CF hood, and the frame is shifted towards the passenger side due to the impact.
I'll post up pics soon.
I'm lucky to be alive.
*Mods if you must, please put me in the appropriate section. I just thought that I post in here the most, so I'd post in here.*

I'm not a collision expert, but from my past experience in a simular accident, I'm thinking my car is Totaled. Check out the pics.
Knowtice in this pic, as soon as I saw the silver blurr I mashed on the brakes (as you can see the skid marks). If I didn't see him, I think I would have been dead. Knowice how my whole car was shifted towards the left in the skid mark.
This is the only damage to his POS SUV. None of his front end was damaged because I think he swerved to the left to avoid me.
God was lookin out for me.

Re: (92CivicSiR2)
I ****** hate SUV's!
I was in an accident with a suburban. The ****** was sitting at a red light. Second in line. He decided to pull out to the next lane where there was no cars, right in front me. I slammed into him crushing my bumper and hood. Fucked up my lights and what's this guy do? He looks in his mirror, smiles and takes off when the light turned green. I took off after him and pulled up next to him at the next light. Started cussing his *** out. Then he asks me if there was any damage to his bumper. I told him no and he took off again. I never got his plate, I was too shaken up.

Re: (SpugenEG)
It's gonna be written up as a total loss. Blue book on an si in excellent condition is less than $2000(I chose the si because it's what I drive and the eh with the highest resale value). There is definately more than $2k in damages. My car didn't even look a quarter as bad as his and Allstate tried to write it off. I had to beg them to let me keep it and fix it.

Yeah, I'm glad to be alive. I didn't even see what the cops were doing with that &*^%. I was so shaken up, all I could think about was getting his insurance info and taking down his license plate. Oh I just happened to have my digital camera in my glovebox as you can tell from the pics (was taking pics of the new wheels earlier) Anyway, I'm not sure if he got cited or not, but I have 3 witnesses. The cop clearly stated that it looks like he is at fault.

My back is killing me now. I am scheduled to see a chiropractor tomarrow already so, it should be cool. And about the rims, yes I just got them from Marcus @ Heeltoe.com this past week. I'm very glad they are all still in one 4 peices.

The way you describe the event makes me recall the scene in "Fight Club" when Tyler's body was just thrown forward into the glass and car when he got into the car accident.
Hope everything gets taken care of and goes well. We all care about what happens to our cars, so I will give the standard statement here, "it could have been worse". Good luck with everything.

Like I said above, lets try to keep the hate to a minimal. Please.
And NO. It's not "coo". Try putting yourself in my situation, if you haven't already been in it.

Re: (743power)
The day I didn't bring (which I normally do) my digicam, an F-150 totalled my 94 Si. He merged into my passenger side of the car and pushed me off the road. I was on tha onramp in the carpool lane to the freeway. I ended up going over bushes and rocks. I was able to maneuver the vehicle back onto the pavement and stopped the car. Since I had the right of way and he crossed a solid line to get into the carpool lane, he was 100% at fault. His truck damaged my door and rear quarter panel and I'm positive my under carriage. His insurance totalled it. They don't go by Blue Book anymore. They're supposed to take 3 cars just like mine within range of my same area and average out a median. That's how much they give you as far as property damage. I got just above $3k, which is absolutely Bs. There's a huge market for these hatches and an Si should be even more. His insurance was Progressive btw.
