2k Si doors and climate control in a 97 Ek DX (hatch)
-yes, i DID search-
ok, i dont know exactly how hard it would be, but im purchasing a 2000 si shell for a great price, full interior. i want to know what i need to put the full door onto my car, so i can have power windows, power door locks, etc. how hard is it, wiring etc.
i also want to put the newer climate control into the dash, and wiring for that, i search about 5 times with differesnt descriptions and nothing came up.
thanks.

dash- http://repo.jackmoves.com/v/erik/album106/album228/
doors- http://repo.jackmoves.com/v/erik/album106/album206/
for the doors you can make it all swap over but you will need to swap over the floor harenss, the rear main harness, and the dash harness. then everything will be plug and play. This would really be the easiest way since you will need to remove the dash completely anyways for the climate control swap.
the reason for this is the 2k floor harness main connections are different than that of the 96-98. luckily you have an entire donor car so you can just swap all the interior wiring completely.

I have the doors in my car. Used the interior harness from a 99 EX and had to make some small modifications. Also installed the keyless entry unit from the same EX to work with my power locks. Pretty slick little setup I might add.... And its even all OE.

It will unless it was removed. It was standard on the '99-'00 Si.

Just get one off ebay.. easy to program once you wire in the keyless entry module.
