you dont need to lower you compression. Just slap on a turbo kit and get her tuned. Generally 250whp is not high enough to worry about lowering the compression, you'll be faster with stock compression then you will with lower compression if both setup peaked at 250whp.

250whp shouldn't be hard on your "rebuilt" motor at all...buy a kit...slap it on...and have it tuned professionaly.....this will enusre your motor will have no problems at all...

did you have the motor rebuilt with higher compression..

i'm only asking b/c the american b16 has 10.205320397414986

which is 10.2:1...which is plently low enough

12 psi tuned at 10.5:1 will make more than 250whp.

getting a car tuned wont lower the compression ratio. you have to install lower comp. pistons for that.

no.

buy a kit. do research to find out everything youll need.

besides piping, intercooler, turbo, manifold, wastegate and bov. youll need at least 310cc injectors, an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator like a b&m or aem, a fuel rail, a wideband sensor with gauge to montior air fuel ratios and a good tune. you should be making 240-260 at the wheels at 7-8psi with a good tune.
