250 RPM?!?!
Whats the deal? My car will sometimes idle at around 600, but then sometimes I'll pull up to a light and take it out of gear and BAM! It'll go down to around 250 RPM and stay there. The next time I stop it will usually be back up......not always though. Seems completely inconsistant. What the deal with this??? Anyone get this in their car?

Re: 250 RPM?!?! (MiGs)
Sure I'm sure. 250 RPM. It doesn't stall, but sometimes it'll start bucking a little like it's about to stall. So MiGs, same problem, no solution huh? Sucks.

Re: 250 RPM?!?! (Loco Honkey)
Huh, you mean to tell me your tach STARTS at 500?? Maybe yours, but mine starts at 0. Well, it doesn't have a "0" on the guage, but we'll assume that when your tach is at rest, its at 0. Right around 250 RPM there is a small line on the dial, which seems out of place when compared to the scaling of the other lines. That line, I believe, designates the stall point. And that is where my tach is sometimes resting. While at that position is sounds like if it goes ANY lower, it will stall.
