Default 250 HP Del Sol

I'm interested in upgrading my 97 VTEC from a 160HP car to a 250 hp beast...but im having a hard time finding a nice engine to do the premier engine swap. Combined with Turbo I'd like to go a minimum of 250 HP...I have the money for all options, so please help me out. Thanks.

Just boost the B16, and put the swap money toward quality, proven components. For a quick breakdown of a simple turbo kit on a VTEC Del Sol, PM user: Delsolemite. When his block and head were stock, he was making around 270 safely, he can fill you in on what he used.

ive got a 95 del sol with the factor b16 and all internals are untouched. on 6.5psi im makin 241 EASY. with even the slightest bit more aggressive of a tune, i could very easily see 260.

i think you should'nt waste your money on a swap when you have a perfectly good motor in your car already. unless you have really high mileage..then swap it out but if the mileage is decent build the block up so it can handle 10psi dailydriven then you'll be the "250 hp beast" you want to be! if not that then k20r is your next best bet!
