Re: 240k on a civic (JDMbitches)
It really depends on you and your budget, the 60k mileage might not be the actual mileage itself, it could be higher or lower depending on what year the b18 is from and how often it's driven. How much is he/she selling for? Is it a gsr or ls motor?

60k is not alot at all and im pretty sure a b18 is a gsr and a b20 is a ls soo i would get it because the motor itself is a like 2500$ and if u do MAKE SURE IT PASSES SMOG!!!

B20 is a 2.0 liter engine from a CRV.
B18A/B/C1/C5 are engines from Integras: the first two lack VTEC, the third is a GSR motor and the last is a Type-R motor.
No more talking for you until you learn your ABCs, kid.
To the original poster, mileage doesn't matter. I have a 263+ mile D16Z6 in my 93 Si that I beat the **** out of every single day. Take care of your toys and they'll last forever.

LS.
I'd get it, VTEC head on the block and then turbo. Basic LS/VTEC setup.

eh while this topic is fairly fresh, and since i am prolly the biggest honda newbie on here, with the ls/vtec setup, do u have to mod the (lets say) b16 head in any way before u slap it on the b18b bottom end? any new parts in the process, etc
for me

Yea you have to polish the oil ports and change out 2 of the valves for it to fit.
You would be better of throwing a VX head on it, I think those were on the engine code B15d7
