9th gen si are 2.5" and 6th gen's (98's) are 2"
a muffler shop could weld it to make it work...is it direct fit? no
it would sound...not much different. It is higher flow, but you'd still be running 2" stock back to it.

it depends on what you're looking for.
when it comes to sound, it will sound stock. if you want it to sound to agressive it's not for you. but 2.5" is usually all you need unless you're doing major work like boost

Any strait thru chambered muffler will sound better than stock around town but still quiet, but then sounds nice and mean under wot. I personally have the yonaka ws2 and love it
