2004 Civic VP Tachometer
Hello,
I just purchased a 2004 Civic VP, and it has no tachometer. I would like to install a small and discreet tachometer. My question is how many wires do I need to run, and do I need to make any permanant mods?
thanks,
Ben

Re: 2004 Civic VP Tachometer (BEN52)
Probably gonna be 3 wires, one for the tach reading which goes to the distributor, one power for lighting and one ground.

LOL!! Nicely done . The ECU signal wire that reads RPM is what you'll be looking to tap. Although your car doesn't come with a tach, the wires for it are probably chillin behind the gauge cluster waiting for your handiwork.
