Default 2003 tranny in my 95 civic ex??

like stated can i use a 03 dx tranny in my 95 civic ex?

No. You can only use the transmission that goes with a certain series of engine. The only exception is b series transmission on an H or F series engine...but dont even worry about that.

yes but to put an b series tranny on a h seies motor you need h2b which is pretty pricy, bt nontheless worth it.

ive never seen it done so i dont know... the ex tranny you have now has the best gearing for th esingle slam but if its blown or something i would just try to find a y8 tranny

2003 Civics had D17s.

But I still don't think it'll work. Could be wrong...

i've heard that new d series trannies are kinda bulky and wont fit in the older body styles.

i help smeone swap a '00 ex motor into his '92 ex and the tranny didnt fit. he had to use his existing tranny on the newer motor

maybe i did. it was an auto tranny and i dont deal with those much, but i have done a few honda swaps so i have a decent understanding of this stuff.

so yeah it should work
