subsidizing farmers is so we have less crop. they basically pay them not to grow too much.
didn't know ethanol is from corn. cool.

I thought surplus was a good thing?
and subsidizing was when the government pays farmers when their crop gets ruined, or they can't afford to pay for their farm anymore. so they don't go out of business??
subsidizing farmers is so we have less crop. they basically pay them not to grow too much.

right but alot of farmers use it as an excuse and dont keep up with their crop and yet still get cash.

i would go and try it on an older model car....yours is too new to "accidentally" mess up by trying something like that

Yes, as a preservative.
To the original poster, if you're just trying to save money by using GALLONS of ethanol, I wouldn't do it. If you're using it as an additive, I don't see why not.
